
Dutch Oven Whole Chicken with Veggies
Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Onion quartered
- 3 Carrots chopped
- 3 Potatoes halved
- 3 cloves Garlic
- 2 tsp Thyme
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat Dutch oven on stovetop, sear chicken on all sides in olive oil. Remove.
- Add onion, carrots, and potatoes. Place chicken on top.
- Sprinkle with seasonings and garlic.
- Cover with lid and bake 1 hr 30 min.
- Remove lid for last 15 min for crispy skin.
- Serving Tip: Spoon juices over meat before serving.
